A fresh leak has surfaced with new details about the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold, the company’s first triple-fold smartphone. According to well-known insider Evan Blass, the device is set to feature a 6.5-inch cover display with up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness and a spacious 10-inch inner screen rated at up to 1,600 nits. The main camera is listed at 200MP.
The battery is described as a hybrid unit: its nominal capacity is 5,437 mAh, though Samsung may market it as roughly 5,600 mAh.
The chassis reportedly comprises three sections of different thicknesses—about 3.9 mm, 4.0 mm, and 4.2 mm for a combined ~12.1 mm. Taking gaps and the hinge into account, the folded thickness could reach around 14 mm.
As for the platform, a flagship Qualcomm chip is mentioned, but the exact model hasn’t been pinned down—either Snapdragon 8 Elite or a fifth-generation variant. The leaked timeline points to December 5, 2025, as a possible launch date.
If these figures hold, Samsung seems to be aiming for a tablet-scale canvas that still folds down for pocketable use, with brightness tuned for outdoor visibility. The staggered section thickness hints at intricate hinge engineering that may define the device’s feel in hand.
All of the above comes from an unofficial leak, and we’re awaiting confirmation from Samsung.
