OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 15 series, and fresh leaks suggest the global model will diverge from the Chinese version not only in hardware but also in how it’s positioned on the market.
According to SmartPrix, the international Reno 15 is slated to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. A 6500 mAh battery with 80 W fast charging rounds out the core specs, pointing to a device built for longevity without sacrificing speed.
The rear camera setup is said to include three sensors: a 50 MP main, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom. The phone is also expected to support Wi‑Fi 7, NFC, an in-display fingerprint reader, and ship with Android 16. The global debut of the Reno 15 series is reportedly on the cards for February 2026.
The Chinese variant, anticipated for release on November 17, is shaping up to be more compact with a 6.32-inch screen. It’s tipped to run on the Dimensity 8450 and carry a 6200 mAh battery with the same 80 W charging. Camera leaks point to a 200 MP main sensor accompanied by two additional 50 MP modules.
Taken together, the contrast suggests OPPO is steering the global model toward endurance and versatile zoom, while the domestic version leans into a smaller form factor and headline-grabbing resolution—two distinct interpretations of what a modern mid-premium phone should prioritize.
