Nvidia GeForce RTX 50xx SUPER Series Coming in Late 2025 with Upgrades

According to Red Gaming Tech, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 50xx SUPER graphics card lineup is now expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, moving up from the previously rumored early 2026 release window. The source claims the new models will keep the same pricing as their standard RTX 50 counterparts but will feature expanded memory and several performance upgrades.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Super is reportedly set at $549, with VRAM capacity increased by 50% to 18 GB. It will also gain two additional streaming multiprocessors, raising the CUDA core count by 4% to 6,400.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Super will feature 24 GB of memory running at 30 Gbps and a 50 W higher power target, priced at $749. The GeForce RTX 5080 Super will also come with 24 GB of memory, though at faster speeds, along with a 15% increase in total graphics power. However, both the 5070 Ti Super and the 5080 Super will not see any increase in SM or CUDA core counts compared to their standard editions.

Reports also note that Nvidia currently holds excess inventory of certain less popular SKUs, including the GeForce RTX 5070 — a factor that could influence the rollout strategy for the SUPER series.
