Lenovo is gearing up the next generation of its Legion gaming tablets, and a fresh leak suggests the company is once again aiming to impress on raw performance. Insider Smart Pikachu reports that the brand is developing two compact models—one with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and the other with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The familiar 16:10 aspect ratio is set to stay, just like on the popular Legion Y700.
It looks like Lenovo will revisit last year’s approach. The Legion Y700 (Gen 4) for the Chinese market shipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the global Legion Tab went with the more modest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. A similar split may return in 2026: a new Legion Tab with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and the China-bound Legion Y700 (Gen 5) stepping up to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
