Samsung has introduced its new wireless Smart Keyboard — a compact metal accessory built to make working across Galaxy devices straightforward. Although the company pitches it as a companion for Galaxy laptops, phones and tablets, it connects to any device that supports Bluetooth.
The keyboard features a slim aluminum body, a clean design and Bluetooth 5.4. It uses a layout without a numeric keypad, and the key spacing is 19 mm — about the same as on Samsung’s current notebooks. There’s no backlight, so typing in complete darkness will be a challenge; that’s the main trade-off here.
Dedicated function buttons stand out. One key lets you quickly switch among three connected devices. An AI button launches Bixby or Google Gemini on Galaxy phones and tablets, and triggers Microsoft Copilot on Windows machines. There’s also a dedicated key to turn on Samsung DeX instantly — a clear nod to the Galaxy ecosystem focus without locking you into it.
The top row covers media controls, volume, window switching and Android system navigation. The F1–F3 keys can be reassigned to favorite apps, and additional actions are available via the Fn key — a sensible setup for everyday shortcuts.
The Smart Keyboard weighs 218.4 g and measures 280.3 × 111.5 × 4.3 mm. It’s powered by a CR2032 battery included in the box, along with a tool for removal. The keyboard is already available on Samsung’s official website for $109.99 and comes only in black.
