The OnePlus 15 posted striking results in both battery life and charging speed, leaving the iPhone 17 Pro Max well behind. According to TechDroider, the new OnePlus flagship goes from 0 to 100% in just 41 minutes using its 120W SuperVOOC adapter. By comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro Max with an updated 40W fast charge reaches full capacity in 1 hour 24 minutes—almost twice as long. That kind of gap is hard to ignore.
The OnePlus 15 also packs a sizable 7,300 mAh battery—51% larger than Apple’s top model. Despite the bigger pack, it not only charges faster but also delivers better battery life. The advantage shows up in everyday comfort, too: the OnePlus 15 is lighter at 211 g versus 233 g, and it’s a touch thinner, which makes it easier to carry and use throughout the day.
There are limits to the OnePlus 15, chiefly its camera, which doesn’t match the best phones of 2025. Even so, for users who value rapid charging, stamina, and a lighter build, OnePlus’s new flagship stands out as a compelling alternative to the iPhone.
