At IFA 2025, Yamaha unveiled its flagship TRUE X SURROUND 90A — the world’s first soundbar to support AURO-3D. With twelve upward-firing beam drivers and next-generation oval drivers on board, it delivers immersive sound with pinpoint placement that aims to rival ceiling-mounted setups.
The soundbar supports Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and AURO-3D, and includes a powerful subwoofer with a Symmetrical Flare Port that cuts noise by 20 dB. The package also features wireless rear speakers that can double as standalone Bluetooth speakers — a practical touch for everyday listening.
The system debuts Yamaha’s SURROUND:AI, which analyzes audio in real time and adapts the sound field to match the scene. The enclosure leans on premium materials — a metal frame, acoustically optimized grilles, and a minimalist aesthetic that blends neatly into modern interiors.
TRUE X SURROUND 90A works with the MusicCast platform, AirPlay, and Bluetooth, and supports HDMI eARC, optical input, and wall mounting. Control is handled through the MusicCast app, from quick adjustments to precise channel calibration, keeping setup straightforward without sacrificing fine control.
