At IFA 2025, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Tab S11 — the thinnest and most intelligent tablets in the lineup. The flagship measures just 5.1 mm, and inside sits a 3 nm processor with gains of up to 33% for the NPU and up to 27% for the GPU. The message is clear: slim no longer means slow.
The tablets run One UI 8 with refreshed Galaxy AI features. Gemini Live lets users share their screen in real time and ask questions about what’s in the image, while Circle to Search now instantly translates text on the display. Writing Assist helps refine tone and style, and Drawing Assist turns rough sketches into finished images — a practical combo that makes everyday tasks feel smoother.
The S Pen adopts a hexagonal shape for a steadier grip and a conical tip for better tilt control. Quick access to tools, Sticky Notes, and a floating Galaxy AI window help accelerate work on documents and drawings. Small touches, but they add up to a more natural creative flow.
The expanded DeX now supports Extended Mode, so the tablet and an external monitor function as two fully fledged screens. Users can create up to four workspaces for different tasks — from creative projects to work meetings. A welcome nod to those who juggle multiple workflows.
The Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel reaches up to 1600 nits, keeping visuals vivid even outdoors. Galaxy Tab S11 integrates with Goodnotes, Clip Studio Paint, LumaFusion, and Notion, and also offers subscriptions and trial periods for professional apps.
