POCO has officially set November 26 for a global launch featuring several new devices: the POCO F8 Pro, POCO F8 Ultra, and the new POCO Pad X1. In the run-up, the brand has been dropping teasers that lock in key features ahead of the reveal.
The POCO Pad X1 will be shown the same day. It comes in gray and blue, with a square rear camera island housing a 13-megapixel main sensor and an LED flash. Along the frame are the power button, speaker cutouts, and an additional physical button.
The company has confirmed the tablet runs on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, one of the most powerful mid‑range chipsets. Its display is set to deliver a 3.2K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. POCO stresses that the panel aims for crisp detail and supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos—a spec sheet that reads like a pitch to performance-minded users who also care about entertainment.
A recent Geekbench listing indicated the tablet runs Android 15 and includes 8 GB of RAM. The recorded performance aligns with expectations for the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3.
Preliminary reports suggest the POCO Pad X1 could be a rebadged Xiaomi Pad 7. If that holds, the two would be nearly identical in hardware. The Xiaomi Pad 7 features an 11.2‑inch display with 3.2K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate, a nanotexture finish, anti‑glare and anti‑reflective coatings, HDR10 and Dolby Vision support, and TÜV Rheinland certification.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 also offers a metal body, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3, up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, an 8,850 mAh battery with 45 W charging, 13 MP and 8 MP cameras, and HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The chassis measures 6.18 mm thick and 499 g, with IP52 protection, Wi‑Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, a workstation mode, Focus Keyboard support, and four speakers.
If POCO does use the same foundation, the Pad X1 would promise a similar blend of speed, multimedia capability, and a high‑quality screen—packaged in a format that feels more accessible for the international market.
