Redmi K90 Pro and K90 Ultra: rumored specs, sizes, and launch window

Tipster Smart Pikachu says new Redmi K90-series devices are in the works. Even though the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max running Snapdragon 8-series chips have already launched in China, the company appears ready to broaden the lineup with two more phones. The informant also highlighted a key detail: screen size.

According to the source, the models may arrive as the Redmi K90 Pro and Redmi K90 Ultra. One is expected to feature a 6.6-inch display, while the other could step up to 6.8 inches. That move would neatly bridge the gap between today’s options: the standard Redmi K90 comes with a 6.59-inch screen, and the K90 Pro Max caters to big-screen fans with a 6.9-inch panel.

Rumor has it the Redmi K90 Pro could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, while the higher-end Ultra is likely to move to the Dimensity 9500 Plus. Earlier leaks also suggested the K90 Ultra might ship with a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display at 1.5K resolution and 165 Hz. The phone may also bring a metal frame, rounded corners, and better water protection.

Multimedia could be a compelling focus: current models use Bose-tuned acoustics, and if that partnership holds, audio quality in the new versions should stay strong. Another upgrade under discussion is a battery of around 8,000 mAh, which would meaningfully extend battery life.

If Redmi sticks to its usual launch cadence, the K90 Ultra could debut in China in mid-2026. The K90 Pro would likely arrive earlier, in the first half of 2026.
