Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Release Date, Platforms, and Key Details

Insider billbil-kun has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is set to launch on November 14. Notably, there are no current plans for a Nintendo Switch 2 version, and it remains unclear whether one will arrive in the future. This absence stands out given the 2023 agreement between Microsoft and Nintendo to bring the series to Switch platforms over the next decade — a promise yet to materialize. Surprisingly, the game will still be released on PS4 and Xbox One, making its omission from Switch 2 all the more striking.

The title will be available physically for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X, priced at €79.99. Pre-orders open on August 20, immediately following the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase. Developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, the storyline picks up a decade after the events of Black Ops II. Players will follow David Mason and his team as they hunt down an adversary who wields fear as their primary weapon.

Black Ops 7 will feature both a single-player campaign and multiple multiplayer modes, including the round-based cooperative Zombies experience. Developers also plan to expand the omnimovement system introduced in last year’s Black Ops 6, aiming to make character movement even more fluid and dynamic.
