Quick Share on Android phones with Snapdragon processors will soon support sending files to AirDrop, Qualcomm has officially confirmed. It’s a practical bridge between ecosystems that should make everyday sharing easier.Google previously updated Quick Share on the Pixel 10 series, adding AirDrop compatibility and enabling direct transfers between Android and iPhone. Back then it wasn’t clear which devices would follow; now it’s evident that Snapdragon-powered models are next in line.Qualcomm indicated that Quick Share and AirDrop would work together in the near future, once Google activates the capability. That points to cross-platform file sharing on devices such as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and other Snapdragon phones. There’s still no confirmation about AirDrop transfers on Exynos or MediaTek devices. However, since no special hardware appears to be required, the odds look good.
