At the SIAS exhibition in Shenzhen, FiiO unveiled its upcoming portable Hi-Fi player, the M27, which is scheduled for an official release in mid-October. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Dragonwing QCS6490 processor, described as an «IoT version» of the Snapdragon 782G without a 5G modem. This chipset features eight Kryo 670 cores and an Adreno 643 GPU. Paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the M27 is positioned as a high-fidelity player with a strong emphasis on performance.
In terms of connectivity, the M27 includes two high-speed TF card slots, standard coaxial input/output, an optical output, and a 6.35 mm headphone jack. It integrates a Qualcomm QCC5181 Bluetooth module with LDAC codec support, while audio processing is handled by dual flagship ESS ES9039SPRO DACs. The built-in amplifier delivers a claimed output of 5 W.
Power comes from a 9,200 mAh battery, which users can replace themselves. With this combination of advanced hardware and versatile connections, the FiiO M27 is positioned not just as a music player, but as a powerful portable tool for audiophiles, capable of delivering high-quality sound across a wide range of wired and wireless headphones.
