OnePlus has shared new details about the camera of the upcoming OnePlus 15R, which will launch in China as the Ace 6T. Ahead of the release, the company published the first official photo samples to show what the new affordable flagship can do. The Ace 6T will be the brand’s first smartphone on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform, and the international OnePlus 15R will likely feature similar specs.
The samples confirm that the main camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with a 24 mm focal length and an f/1.8 aperture. The gallery includes crisp portraits with gentle background blur and balanced lighting. OnePlus also highlights the use of OPPO’s flagship image-processing algorithm, which aims to deliver wide dynamic range—something that comes through in scenes with complex lighting.
There are night shots, too: the photos suggest confident low-light performance, with restrained noise and accurate exposure. Still, these are official promo materials, so it makes sense to view them with a touch of caution.
