Grand Theft Auto 6 remains the most anticipated game around, and any mention sparks a storm of debate. Amid a flood of AI-spun fakes passed off as leaks, fans finally stumbled on one of the few clips that feels at least somewhat credible.
A former Rockstar Games animator briefly posted a demo reel on Vimeo that included roughly 19 seconds of work tied to GTA 6. Users noticed it quickly; it was taken down just as fast — a move that, predictably, only drew more attention.
The first snippet shows a man getting on and off a bicycle. The animation looks detailed and appears to be grounded in motion capture. A Lom Bikes logo flashes on screen, which could hint at a public bike system in an updated Vice City.
The second fragment was labeled as a female NPC exit animation: a woman hops into the bed of a pickup and jumps back out. The motion strongly evokes Lucia from the official GTA VI trailers, even if nothing in the reel says so outright.
Rockstar is known for guarding its projects and pursuing any leak. After the high-profile GTA 6 breach in 2022, the studio tightened controls even further, and employees can face accusations of confidentiality violations at the first whiff of suspicion. In that light, the clip’s disappearance looks telling — many assume it was internal footage never meant for public viewing.
Reddit users managed to copy the video, though most of the community leans toward a practical reading: this isn’t a finished slice of the game but a work-in-progress animation without final graphics.
Whether it counts as a genuine leak is still up in the air. What’s clear is the appetite for GTA 6 is so intense that even a few seconds of animation become a talking point. With Rockstar staying quiet, fans will keep combing for any hint of the release ahead.
