Xreal 1S AR glasses bring brighter Micro OLED, real-time 3D, wider FOV, and Bose-tuned audio

Xreal 1S arrives as an upgraded take on the base Xreal 1, nudging the field of view from 50° to 52°. That modest bump translates into a noticeably more spacious image in everyday use. The company also reworked the displays: inside are Micro OLED panels rated at 700 nits of brightness (versus 600 nits on the standard version), a 1200p resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 108% sRGB coverage.

Comfort takes center stage. Weighing 82 grams, the glasses feature flexible temples and an adjustable hinge to better fit different face shapes and help reduce fatigue over long sessions—a welcome focus for anyone planning extended wear.

The headline feature is real-time 3D conversion, handled by the built-in X1 chip. It is the same processor used in Xreal One and supports frame generation, spatial computing, and M2P latency at 3 ms.

Audio is delivered by a system co-tuned with Bose. Claimed capabilities include Spatial Sound 4.0, dynamic processing algorithms, and noise suppression for cleaner voice transmission. The design remains open, so it will not fully isolate external noise the way in-ear TWS with ANC can.

In Japan, Xreal 1S is available for pre-order at 67,980 yen, which works out to roughly $437. The company is also hinting at a global rollout, with international pricing expected to sit slightly above the current non-S model.
