OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 for OnePlus 15 brings faster camera, smarter networking

OnePlus has begun rolling out another update for the OnePlus 15 — the fresh OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 build. It’s the second release since the phone’s global debut and again brings a raft of refinements, from the camera and interface to networking. The initial wave is landing in India and will expand gradually; only some owners are getting it today. The firmware is CPH2745_16.0.1.305(EX01), with the change list potentially varying by region.

The update enhances the Circle for Search gesture. It can now be triggered even when the navigation bar is hidden — you simply hold your finger where the bar would normally sit. The camera launches noticeably faster, and bugs that led to inaccurate color reproduction in photos and off tones in videos shot in overcast conditions have been addressed.

On the system side, OnePlus has boosted software stability, improved the reliability of face unlock, and reworked overheating prevention. The emphasis is on day-to-day polish, the kind of tuning that tends to be felt more than advertised.

Networking sees attention as well. The refreshed AI LinkBoost interface now surfaces optimization stats and latency savings. The phone issues real-time alerts when network acceleration kicks in under a weak signal, and users get richer at-a-glance network details — latency along with upload and download speeds.
