Nubia has officially unveiled the foldable Nubia Flip3 in Japan, though actual sales are slated for mid-January 2026. The newcomer arrived alongside the brand’s other foldable, the Nubia Fold, a move that reinforces the company’s push into flexible phones. The Flip3 targets users who want a compact form factor without giving up on performance.
It runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400X, balancing efficiency and power, and comes with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage — a sensible setup for everyday tasks and media. Inside, a 6.9-inch flexible display delivers Full HD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, while a 4-inch AMOLED cover screen lets you deal with notifications, the camera, and widgets without opening the phone.
The camera system combines a 50-megapixel main unit with a 12-megapixel ultrawide, giving the Flip3 useful range for shooting. A 32-megapixel selfie camera is embedded in the internal display. Battery life is backed by a 4610 mAh cell, a sizable figure for this form factor.
Extras include a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC, Bluetooth 6.0, and IP54 protection. Opened up, the body measures just 7.5 mm thick and weighs 187 g, making the Flip3 one of the lightest and thinnest in its class. The phone runs Android 15 and will be available in black and white. Official pricing remains unannounced, with Nubia set to share it closer to the January 2026 sales start.
