OnePlus 15R (Ace 6T): 8,300 mAh battery, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 165 Hz OLED

OnePlus has quietly rolled out the Ace 6T in China — a handset that will arrive on the global market as the OnePlus 15R. The Chinese version is already on sale starting at around $368, while the international debut is slated for the second half of December.

Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with a bright OLED display running at 165 Hz and a chassis rated IP68/69/69K for dust and water resistance. The real headliner is the battery: a silicon‑carbon 8,300 mAh pack that even eclipses the flagship OnePlus 15. The company says that’s enough for tens of hours of active use, and 100 W SuperVOOC can restore half a charge in just 23 minutes. There’s also support for 55 W PPS charging.

The camera setup is more restrained: a 50 MP main unit alongside an 8 MP ultrawide, with minimal zoom capabilities. High‑frame‑rate video at 4K/120 fps helps offset some of those compromises. The front camera uses a 16 MP sensor.

Elsewhere, the phone offers Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, an ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the display, ColorOS 16, and an IR blaster. It comes in three colors, and the build materials vary by version — glass or fiberglass — a practical split that matches the overall positioning.

The official unveiling of the OnePlus 15R is set for December 17. Minor differences from the Chinese model are expected, but the oversized battery should carry over — and it looks set to be the device’s strongest selling point.
