Asus has unveiled new images of the limited TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Edition and confirmed the run: exactly one thousand cards will be made. Aimed at those who appreciate hardware with a backstory, the design leans into Black Ops styling; the shroud and backplate carry themed details, including the signature Chimera mark and orange accents that echo the game’s visual tone. A thousand units all but ensures scarcity among collectors.
Despite the collector slant, inside it’s a full-fledged RX 9070 XT built on RDNA 4 with 16 GB of GDDR6. The materials cite support for FSR 4 and DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, and clock speeds mirror the standard TUF Gaming OC. In short, the special edition doesn’t compromise on the performance essentials.
Cooling is handled by an Axial-tech setup with three fans, large ventilation cutouts in the aluminum plate, and a 0 dB fan-stop mode under light loads. A Dual BIOS switch lets users choose a performance or a quiet profile, while longevity is addressed with dual ball bearings, a reinforced metal frame, and Auto-Extreme assembly. A phase-change thermal pad replaces regular thermal paste, liquefying under load to improve contact with the heatsink—a practical touch for sustained gaming sessions.
There’s also a bonus for series devotees: each card includes a digital PC copy of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 at selected retailers. The materials state the game is already available and single out FSR Redstone Ray Regeneration as an exclusive technology. The bundle neatly ties the hardware and the franchise together.
