Samsung to unveil 65-98-inch Micro RGB TVs at CES 2026

CES 2026 is shaping up to be a major moment for the TV industry, with Samsung once again in the spotlight. Korean media report that the company is preparing its first truly mass-market lineup of TVs built on Micro RGB technology—this time in more familiar screen sizes rather than wall-filling giants.

At IFA 2025, Samsung already showed a 115-inch Micro RGB TV—impressive, yet clearly niche. Now the focus is on the mainstream: at CES 2026, the company is expected to unveil models from 65 to 98 inches, a range that opens the door to a much wider audience.

If the rumors hold, it would be the first time Samsung is ready to produce Micro RGB TVs at scale, setting them up for direct competition with Neo QLED. Sources also indicate that pricing is likely to sit closer to Neo QLED than to the ultra-premium Micro LED lineup. For context, a 75-inch Neo QLED 8K currently sells for around 6.2 million won (approximately 29,800 yuan), while 85-inch models range from 8 to 15 million won.

Samsung’s display chief Yeon Seok Woo previously hinted that the company aims to price Micro RGB so that consumers would feel the real value of the technology. Whether that intent translates to the shelf is something to watch at CES 2026.

Samsung, however, won’t be alone in pushing Micro RGB onto the stage: LG is also expected to show its first model, adding intrigue to what could become the next head-to-head in display tech.
