OnePlus has broadened its wearable lineup with the OnePlus Watch Lite — a streamlined yet decidedly capable spin on its flagship watch. The device made its debut on December 17 and is already on sale across Europe and the United Kingdom.
At the heart of the Watch Lite is a 1.46-inch round AMOLED display that can hit up to 3000 nits of peak brightness in Sports mode. That figure is uncommon even among pricey smartphones, which should keep the screen legible under direct sun. Sapphire glass handles protection, while the case is made from 316L stainless steel. The watch measures just 8.9 mm thick and weighs about 59 grams with the strap, keeping both the profile and the heft in check.
Rather than Wear OS, the watch runs OxygenOS Watch 7.1 — a choice that benefits battery life. The company rates it for up to 10 days on a single charge with everyday use.
An unexpected convenience is support for pairing with two phones at once. The Watch Lite can stay in sync with two devices simultaneously, including a mix of Android and iOS — a rarity in this price tier. Health and fitness tools cover the essentials and more: heart-rate tracking, blood oxygen measurement, skin temperature, sleep and stress analysis, over 100 sport modes, and fall detection.
The OnePlus Watch Lite is priced at 159 euros or pounds sterling. For now it is available only in Europe and the UK, and there is no information yet about launches in other regions. Judging by the spec sheet and the price, OnePlus is clearly aiming to stake a claim in the affordable smartwatch bracket.
