Honor is preparing to unveil its WIN gaming smartphone lineup and has already begun sharing the standout features. The company is putting eye comfort front and center — a priority that gaming phones often sideline. The official launch is set for December 26, and the shift in focus feels overdue.
All Honor WIN models will feature an AI Oasis display tuned for fast, dynamic 3D scenes. The screen includes a system designed to reduce motion sickness and eye strain; Honor says it can cut discomfort during long gaming sessions by up to 54%. Special attention is paid to PWM frequency, which reaches a record 5,920 Hz and should all but eliminate visible flicker. The panel also carries TÜV Rheinland Global Eye Protection 5.0 certification, reinforcing the promise of a gentler viewing experience.
The lineup will include two devices — the flagship Honor WIN and the more affordable Honor WIN RT. Both versions come with a 10,000 mAh battery aimed at marathon play without constant top-ups. The higher-end model is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, LPDDR5X memory, and UFS 4.1 storage, while audio is handled by the Honor Surround Subwoofer 2.0 system with symmetrical stereo speakers. It’s the kind of spec sheet built for heavy gaming without obvious compromise.
Honor is also leaning into durability: the entire range will offer water and dust resistance rated at IP68, IP69, and IP69K. In the end, WIN positions itself for demanding users, balancing brute performance with the kind of long-haul comfort that can matter just as much. If the devices deliver as advertised, they could reshape what a gaming phone feels like after hours of use.
