RedMagic 11 Air brings Snapdragon 8 Elite and active cooling at a lower price

RedMagic is gearing up to launch a more affordable take on its gaming smartphone lineup: the RedMagic 11 Air. The brand’s representatives acknowledged the imminent debut shortly after leaks revealed key specifications.

The company previously rolled out the RedMagic 11 Pro range, known for its aggressive design and liquid cooling system. The price, however, kept those models out of reach for many buyers. Against that backdrop, the 11 Air feels like a sensible step—aimed at users who want strong gaming performance without paying the flagship premium.

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the new model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, a chip that trails the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 only slightly in performance. Paired with RedMagic’s active cooling, it should deliver steady frame rates even in demanding titles.

Reports also point to a large battery—expected to surpass the RedMagic 10 Air, which carried a 6,000 mAh pack and supported 80 W fast charging. A full-screen display with an under-display front camera is confirmed as well, lending the device a cleaner, more minimalist look.

While the rest of the specs remain under wraps, the official announcement in China is scheduled for January 2026. Given the blend of a flagship-grade processor, active cooling, and an anticipated lower price, the 11 Air is shaping up to be one of the most appealing gaming phones in its segment.
