Xiaomi has officially introduced its flagship wireless earbuds, the Xiaomi Buds 6, stepping in as the successor to the popular Buds series. The model brings a premium look, broader capabilities, and cleaner sound—tuned jointly by the Chinese electronics maker and Harman. The partnership points to an emphasis on faithful reproduction over flashy gimmicks.
The earbuds come in four colorways: Nebula Purple, Pearl White, Titanium Gold, and Moon Shadow Black. Each bud weighs just 4.4 g, with a bionic-shaped shell aimed at a more secure, comfortable fit. The headline hardware is a gold-plated three-magnet acoustic system that supports audio data transmission up to 2.1 Mbps. Tuning by Harman (Harman United Tuning) targets accurate frequency balance and improved detail, which on paper should bolster both clarity and texture.
Xiaomi Buds 6 also integrate three microphones to reduce noise during calls and support spatial audio. Among the smart tools are AI translation, voice transcription, synchronous translation, and automatic brief summaries. Sales have begun in China at 699 yuan, placing the Buds 6 among the most feature-packed TWS options in their segment. The overall package feels tailored to listeners who want refined sound alongside practical, AI-driven extras.
