OnePlus is preparing a slate of new smartphones built on Qualcomm’s top-tier silicon. In October, the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus 15 are expected to debut in China, with another model to follow under the OnePlus Turbo sub-brand. All of them are said to use flagship Snapdragon 8–series chipsets that have yet to be officially unveiled.
The OnePlus 15 is tipped to be the company’s first phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, also referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. This chip is expected to deliver a noticeable jump in performance and could challenge not only Qualcomm’s current offerings but also upcoming flagships from Samsung and Apple.
According to leaks, the OnePlus Ace 6 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The same processor is rumored to appear in the Redmi K90, Honor GT 2, and Realme Neo. That points to a fall wave of devices using this chip, setting up especially intense competition in the premium tier.
A separate point of interest is the new device under the OnePlus Turbo brand. It may arrive as the first model with an upgraded Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Pro, positioned as a more powerful version of the already announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. The commercial name will likely be Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Plus or Pro.
If these details hold, OnePlus could have three phones on Qualcomm’s freshest platforms by year’s end, reinforcing its stance against Xiaomi, Honor, and other rivals. The timing suggests a calculated push: modern chipsets, staggered releases, and an effort to stay in the spotlight as the Android flagship season gathers pace.
