AnTuTu's December ranking: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 dominates Android flagships

AnTuTu has published its December ranking of the most powerful flagship smartphones, and devices built on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 once again dominate the summit. RedMagic 11 Pro+ takes first place with an average score of 4,118,828 points. It is followed by the iQOO 15 and OnePlus 15, while the Realme GT 8 Pro and Honor Win round out the top five — all running Qualcomm’s flagship chip.

The first MediaTek-powered phone to appear in the chart is the vivo X300 Pro in sixth place — the first model in the list with the new Dimensity 9500. Next comes the OPPO Find X9 Pro, which uses the same processor. The remaining spots in the top ten swing back to Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 devices, including the Honor Magic8 Pro, Magic8, and nubia Z80 Ultra.

Taken together, the month’s snapshot reinforces the state of play in Android’s premium tier: Qualcomm still sets the pace, while MediaTek is only beginning to apply pressure in select positions.
