OPPO Reno15 Pro and Pro Max: compact power, IP69 and 200 MP

OPPO opened 2026 with the global debut of the Reno15 series, unveiling the new Pro and Pro Max. The Pro Max is the first phone in the lineup to carry that name, though in practice it is a rebadged version of the Chinese Pro. The compact Pro features a 6.32-inch display and is already being dubbed the Pro Mini for its small footprint without sacrificing performance — a clear nod to users who want power in a handier format.

Both phones run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 and come with 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The main camera is a 200 MP unit with optical stabilization, paired with a 50 MP telephoto lens that helps deliver convincing portraits. Up front, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera caters to bloggers and anyone who values flexible framing.

The batteries land at record-high capacities: 6,500 mAh for the Pro Max and 6,200 mAh for the Pro. Both models support 80 W wired charging, while the Max also adds 50 W wireless charging. The standout is the IP69 rating, which allows the phones to keep working even under a jet of water — a rare level of protection for this class.

Design is equally considered: the Pro Max offers a 6.78-inch AMOLED with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the compact Pro delivers a dense 460 PPI, keeping the screen bright and detailed despite its smaller size. Together, Reno15 Pro and Pro Max look every inch like modern flagships, balancing strong performance with unusually robust water resistance.
