At CES 2026, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 series, which includes the Ultra, Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book 6. The lineup blends high performance with on‑device AI, positioning it as the most advanced Galaxy notebooks to date. The message is hard to miss: Samsung is steering its PCs firmly toward AI‑centric computing.
The series runs on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on the 18A process, delivering up to a 50% performance boost over the previous generation. Memory goes up to 32 GB, storage up to 1 TB, and the 16‑inch Pro model adds expansion slots. An integrated NPU offers up to 50 TOPS to accelerate AI workloads, while configurations with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 graphics handle demanding games and professional apps. To keep temperatures in check, Samsung uses an expanded vapor chamber alongside an advanced ventilation system.
Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and Pro feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with brightness up to 1000 nits and an adaptive 30–120 Hz refresh rate. The Ultra also includes six speakers with Dolby Atmos for fuller, more detailed sound. Battery life is rated for up to 30 hours of video playback, and fast charging can bring the battery to 60% in 30 minutes, which should ease day‑to‑day use.
Every model in the lineup supports Galaxy AI tools to streamline work with text, video, and media. Samsung said the Windows 11 devices would go on sale by the end of the month in gray and silver finishes.
