Motorola RAZR Fold unveiled with 8.1-inch AMOLED, dual displays, pro cameras, and Android 16

At CES 2026, Motorola unveiled the RAZR Fold, a new large-format foldable that pushes the Razr family into a bigger-screen category. The device pairs a reinforced build with a premium back-panel finish, while the chassis comes in carefully curated Pantone colors.

The standout feature of RAZR Fold

The centerpiece is an 8.1-inch internal AMOLED display that turns the phone into a tablet-like canvas when opened. On the outside, a 6.6-inch screen handles day-to-day tasks, browsing, and video without unfolding. Together, the two displays make the device feel genuinely versatile across different routines.

Cameras that impress just as much

The rear setup is a triple system featuring a 50 MP LYTIA 828 main camera with optical stabilization, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 50 MP LYTIA 600 periscope telephoto offering 3x optical and up to 100x digital zoom. For selfies and calls, there are two front cameras: 32 MP on the outer display and 20 MP on the inner. On paper, it’s an ambitious array aimed at range and flexibility.

The phone runs Android 16 with the Moto AI feature suite and supports the Moto Pen Ultra stylus. Motorola promises seven years of Android and security updates, marking a new long-term approach to user support. Rumors point to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 under the hood to deliver 2026-class flagship performance, while keeping pricing relatively accessible.

Available in two colors at launch

At launch, the device will come in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White. Exact on-sale dates and pricing haven’t been announced yet, with more details expected soon. Ultimately, the final price will shape how much impact it makes.
