Lenovo ThinkCentre X AIO: tall 16:18 display for serious work

Lenovo used CES 2026 to unveil an unconventional all-in-one, the ThinkCentre X AIO, tailored for serious work with documents, code, and content. The headline feature is a tall 27.6-inch display with a rare 16:18 aspect ratio—an immediate departure from the familiar 16:9 and 16:10 formats that signals a screen built for getting things done.

The IPS panel runs at 2560 × 2880 pixels and can show two A4 pages side by side, a layout that suits office workflows, programming, and editing. It refreshes at 60 Hz, reaches up to 300 nits of brightness, delivers 1000:1 contrast, and covers 98% of DCI-P3—specs that prioritize clarity and color accuracy over spectacle, which is exactly what many desks need.

Inside, the ThinkCentre X AIO is based on third‑generation Intel Core Ultra processors, up to the Core Ultra X7. Configurations support up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory at 9600 MT/s and two M.2 2280 SSDs. Graphics are handled by integrated Intel Arc B390 with 12 Xe3 cores, with no discrete GPU options—an intentional nod to a business-first machine rather than a gaming rig.

The system supports an optional 16-megapixel AI camera, includes four microphones and four speakers, and brings modern connectivity with Wi‑Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0. A physical webcam shutter adds a privacy safeguard. Port selection places Thunderbolt and HDMI 2.1 on the rear, with USB‑C and USB‑A on the side for easy access—a practical mix without excess.

The device weighs about 7.37 kg. Lenovo plans to start sales in March, while pricing and regional availability remain under wraps, leaving the value equation to be settled closer to launch.
