WhatsApp continues to double down on group chats, adding three new features that make conversations easier and clearer. The update doesn’t reinvent the app, but it noticeably improves everyday group use—especially in large, active chats where small touches pay off.
Users can set their role within a specific chat—such as "administrator," "organizer," or "designer." Tags are configured separately for each group and help everyone see, at a glance, who handles what without getting lost in the member list.
WhatsApp lets you turn any word or phrase into a sticker directly from sticker search. Stickers created this way can be saved straight to personal packs without sending them to a chat first, which streamlines personalization.
When creating an event in a group chat, you can set early notifications for invited participants. That reduces the chances that important meetings or deadlines will be forgotten.
These are quality-of-life upgrades, the kind that quietly make group chats more practical—not only for friends, but also for work and business communities, where WhatsApp is increasingly used as a primary communication tool.
