Motorola has officially started rolling out the stable Android 16 build, first landing on the Edge 60 Pro in Brazil and the Edge 50 Fusion in Mexico. The update weighs in at about 2 GB and brings not only the latest system version but also a refreshed interface centered on personalization, stronger protection, and background refinements.
Despite the anticipation, the changelog reads modestly: headline Google additions like Live Updates, predictive updates, and a built-in HDR screenshot tool are not present yet. Even so, Motorola has added baseline security features, improved compatibility with LE audio devices, and made subtle visual polish.
Overall, the release feels more like a bridge than a breakthrough—major Android 16 changes may be held back for newer models.
