Infinix NOTE Edge Silk Green smartphone unveiled with silk texture

Infinix has unveiled its new smartphone, the Infinix NOTE Edge, in a distinctive Silk Green color that sets it apart from typical mid-range models. Instead of the usual glossy glass or standard matte plastic, the company has employed a silk-inspired texture, emphasizing the in-hand feel. This approach gives the device a premium impression that's rare for smartphones in this price bracket.

The back panel undergoes over 200 polishing stages to achieve a surface that feels soft and fabric-like, closer to high-grade leather than conventional smartphone materials. Subtle relief lines react to light, creating a depth effect without excessive flashiness. Moreover, the surface resists fingerprints, stains, and everyday wear marks.

Despite its sleek design with a body thickness of just 7.2 mm, the Infinix NOTE Edge packs a substantial 6,500 mAh battery, blending elegance with endurance. The phone runs on the new MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset with eight cores, delivering up to 90 FPS for solid gaming performance and optimized power efficiency for social media and apps.

Alongside the new device, Infinix introduced the XOS 16 interface with innovative features: Glow Space, Depth of Field smart wallpapers, an AI Theme Generator, and instant data transfer from iPhones via NFC without an internet connection.

The Silk Green Infinix NOTE Edge demonstrates that 'affordable premium' can stem from materials, texture, and thoughtful ergonomics rather than mere embellishments. This smartphone will launch later this month, with full specifications and pricing to be announced at that time.
