The future of the Galaxy S26 lineup has become slightly clearer thanks to indirect confirmation from Samsung itself. On the Samsung Colombia website, a PDF document related to promotional campaigns mentioned the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. This indicates that the company plans to present these three smartphones as part of the main series announcement.
Previously, there were rumors that Samsung might drop the Galaxy S26+ version and replace it with a new Galaxy S26 Edge, while renaming the base model to Galaxy S26 Pro. However, the mention of classic names without Edge or Pro suggests these ideas have been abandoned, at least for now. It appears there will be no separate Galaxy S26 Pro model, and the standard Galaxy S26 will retain its familiar positioning.
That said, it's too early to completely rule out the Galaxy S26 Edge. Sources suggest Samsung could follow a familiar strategy and release an Edge version later in the year, separate from the main lineup. The company has used this approach before, expanding the series several months after the flagship launch.
Overall, the upcoming announcement is likely to feature the classic trio: Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra. The fate of Pro and Edge models, if they appear at all, will probably become clear after the official series presentation.
