Redmi continues to build anticipation for the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Max smartphone, which is set to launch soon in China. The manufacturer has officially confirmed the device will feature the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor. Recent AnTuTu benchmark results have surfaced online, showcasing impressive performance. According to the benchmark, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max scores 3,298,445 points on the Dimensity 9500s chip. This result places the newcomer in the same league as devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.
The total score of 3.3 million points breaks down to 952,789 points in the CPU test, 1,130,421 points in the graphics test, 502,375 points in the memory test, and 712,860 points in the user interface test. For context, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max previously appeared in Geekbench, where it scored 2,656 points in single-core mode and 8,377 points in multi-core mode. That test showed the device running Android 16 with 16GB of RAM.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9500s features one Cortex-X925 core clocked up to 3.73 GHz, three Cortex-X4 cores up to 3.30 GHz, and four energy-efficient Cortex-A720 cores at 2 GHz. Graphics are handled by the Immortalis-G925 GPU, which supports ray tracing. Rumors suggest the Redmi Turbo 5 Max will sport a 1.5K resolution OLED LTPS display, a battery around 9000 mAh, and support for 100W fast charging. The expected price is approximately 2500 yuan, or about 360 US dollars. A more basic version in the series, based on the Dimensity 8500, is also anticipated, though its name remains unknown for now.
