Casio appears to be preparing to launch a new G-Shock model aimed at fitness enthusiasts, but with a more premium design. According to a leak, the company may introduce the GM-H5600 watch in the first half of 2026—a device that would combine the capabilities of the G-Shock Move sports line with the classic square case featuring a metal bezel.
The GM-H5600 is expected to be a hybrid of the DW-H5600 and GM-5600 models. From the sports version, the watch could inherit an optical heart rate sensor, workout and sleep monitoring functions, activity analysis, blood oxygen level measurement, and signature tools like Life Log and Nightly Recharge. Meanwhile, the metal case should give the device a more urban and status-oriented appearance without compromising durability.
Sources report that the model has already been registered with several Asian certification bodies, which indirectly indicates an advanced stage of development. Official specifications and confirmations from Casio are not yet available, but it is logical to assume that due to the metal case, the GM-H5600 will be more expensive than the current DW-H5600.
If the leak is confirmed, the new model could launch in spring or summer 2026 and fill a niche for those who want a full-fitness tracker in the classic "square" G-Shock format, but with more premium execution.
