New games coming to Xbox Game Pass in January 2025

Microsoft has unveiled the next wave of additions to Xbox Game Pass, with ten new games joining the service in stages from January 21 to February 3. The update will affect Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass subscriptions, and many titles will be available not only on Xbox Series X|S and PC but also through cloud gaming.

Starting on January 21, subscribers will gain access to Death Stranding Director's Cut, playable via cloud, on portable devices, PC, and Xbox Series X|S. The same day, RoadCraft (PC only) and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, available on cloud, PC, and current-gen consoles, will also be added to the catalog.

On January 27, Game Pass will welcome the philosophical puzzle game The Talos Principle 2 for PC and Xbox Series X|S. The following day, January 28, the service will expand with two more projects: Anno: Mutationem and Drop Duchy, both accessible on cloud, PC, and consoles.

January 29 brings the cozy collection MySims: Cozy Bundle for Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, along with one of the most anticipated releases, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, which can be launched through cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.

The update continues into early February: Indika arrives on Game Pass on February 2, and on February 3, the catalog will be enriched with a classic, Final Fantasy II, available on cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Amidst these new releases, Microsoft also reminded users about library rotation. On January 31, several games will be removed from Game Pass: Shady Part of Me, Starbound, Lonely Mountains Snow Riders, Paw Patrol World, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap. Subscribers are advised to play these titles before the end of the month.
