FiiO has unveiled its new EH11 wireless headphones while also highlighting the ongoing development of its portable audio ecosystem, which includes updates to the popular JM21 player. The EH11 model takes center stage as a compact offering that prioritizes a unique design and solid sound quality over aggressive marketing.
Visually, the EH11 stands out from most modern headphones. Its compact over-ear cups are crafted from wood, drawing inspiration from the mini-headphones of the 1980s, while transparent elements in the casing reveal the internal components. Control is handled through physical rotating dials for volume adjustment and track switching. Weighing in at around 92 grams, the design is suitable for extended wear.
In terms of acoustics, the EH11 features a 40mm dynamic driver with a composite diaphragm. Thanks to a reduced resonant frequency, bass extends down to 17 Hz, promising more controlled lows and precise attack.
