Nintendo is turning one of the most memorable elements from Super Mario Bros. Wonder into a real-world gadget. The company has announced the Talking Flower—a compact plastic flower figurine that can talk and react to its surroundings, just like in the game.
The device can speak on its own about twice an hour, or when you press the button on top. Its phrases are chosen based on the time of day and situation. During the day, it might remind you to eat, comment on the weather or battery level, or simply tell the time. The remarks are designed to be humorous, encouraging, or just friendly.
Sometimes, the Talking Flower plays musical snippets from Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Holding the button for a few seconds temporarily mutes it. At night, the flower won’t speak on its own, but in the morning and evening it can wish you a good morning or good night. It supports 11 languages, including English.
Sales of the Nintendo Talking Flower begin on March 12, 2026. The company hasn’t revealed an official price yet, promising to share more details later on its website.
