vivo X300 series launches Oct 13 with 200 MP Zeiss cameras and Dimensity 9500

vivo has officially confirmed that its new X300 flagship smartphones will debut on October 13. The company is once again putting the emphasis on cameras and design, positioning the lineup as its annual flagship for mobile photography.

Visually, the X300 stands out with a minimalist circular camera island and a distinctive body finished with cold-formed glass. The spotlight, however, is firmly on imaging: the standard Vivo X300 is set to carry a 200 MP Zeiss main camera, while the X300 Pro steps up to a more advanced 200 MP Zeiss telephoto lens with an 85 mm focal length.

Both models will support high-grade optical stabilization rated at CIPA 4.5 and 5.5, placing them among the most stable camera phones. The optical stack also features Zeiss T* coating and protective glass familiar from the X200 Ultra. On the video side, the X300 Pro is billed as the first smartphone capable of recording 4K/60 fps in portrait mode and will also support 4K/120 fps Dolby Vision HDR and 4K/120 fps 10-bit Log. Taken together, the package signals a clear push to keep mobile photography front and center.

The X300 series will be the first devices powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. They will also include vivo’s Blueprint V3+ chip, run OriginOS 6, offer cross-platform integration with Apple devices, and use a BOE Q10 Plus display with a minimum brightness of 1 nit. According to insiders, the phones will include UFS 4.1 storage, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and Sony LYT828 and LYT602 optical sensors.

Alongside the smartphones, vivo will also unveil other devices at the same event: the Watch GT 2 smartwatch, TWS 5 earbuds, and the vivo Pad 5e tablet.
