PlayStation Plus February 2026 lineup: Undisputed boxing game announced

Sony is preparing its February PlayStation Plus Essential games lineup, and the first major announcement has already leaked ahead of schedule. According to insiders, the headlining title for the month will be the boxing simulator Undisputed, available to all PS Plus subscribers from February 3 to March 3, 2026. The game will be claimable by Essential, Extra, and Premium tier members.

Undisputed launched in fall 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, marketed as a long-awaited return to realistic boxing simulators in the spirit of Fight Night Champion. Developed by Steel City Interactive and published by Deep Silver, the title focused on licensed fighters and tactical gameplay, but it only partially met the expectations of players and critics.

After release, the game received a fairly mixed reception. On gaming platforms and in digital stores, users frequently pointed out questionable balance and concerns about the simulation's depth and realism. As a result, Undisputed appealed more to a niche audience of boxing enthusiasts than to mainstream gamers, making its selection as the month's flagship title somewhat puzzling.

The other games in February's PlayStation Plus lineup remain under wraps for now. Sony plans to officially announce the full list on January 28, 2026, at which point it will become clear whether the company can balance the selection with more universally appealing titles.
