The Nothing Phone (4a) is nearing its official announcement, having received certification from the TDRA regulator in the UAE. The device, listed under model number A069, aligns with earlier leaks about the Phone (4a) Pro, which was referenced as A069P. This kind of certification typically signals that a launch is imminent.
Given that the Nothing Phone (3a) series debuted in March of last year, it's reasonable to expect its successors to arrive in the coming weeks. Rumors about the Phone (4a) Pro first surfaced in an IMEI database back in September, with December leaks revealing initial technical details for both models. Recently, Nothing itself confirmed that at least one variant will feature increased storage, which could come with a higher price tag.
While the TDRA certification doesn't disclose specific specs, its existence confirms active preparations for the release. Both smartphones are expected to target the mid-range segment and run on Snapdragon 7-series chipsets, though exact processor models remain unconfirmed.
Reports suggest the Pro version will include eSIM support, with both phones launching in several color options, such as blue, pink, white, and black. At least one model is also rumored to feature UFS 3.1 storage, which should enhance system performance.
