ASUS Zenbook Duo 14: dual-screen laptop with Intel Core Ultra X9

ASUS unveiled its new flagship Zenbook Duo 14 at the AI PC Conference, making it one of the evening's standout announcements. The device features a completely refreshed hardware platform built around the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H Panther Lake processor and focuses on a dual full-screen format. Pricing has not yet been disclosed.

The Zenbook Duo 14's key highlight is its two 14-inch touch OLED panels, each boasting a 2.8K resolution and a 144 Hz refresh rate. These displays deliver peak brightness up to 1,000 nits, cover 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, and support 10-bit color depth. An AR anti-glare coating improves readability in bright conditions, while stylus support enables direct note-taking, illustration, and graphics work on the screens.

Power comes from the Intel Core Ultra X9 388H, manufactured on the Intel 18A process. This processor packs 16 cores and 16 threads, with a maximum frequency reaching 5.1 GHz. The integrated Arc B390 graphics, with 12 Xe cores, can boost up to 2.5 GHz. Support for XeSS 3 and hardware decoding of AV1 and H.266 codecs targets content creators and video professionals. The IcePeak cooling system, with an enlarged air intake area, allows the CPU to operate stably at power draws up to 45 W.

The laptop is equipped with two batteries totaling 99 Wh, providing up to 32 hours of battery life when using a single screen. Its design includes a metal stand that lets users position the device vertically for a full desktop mode with dual displays, or open it flat to 180 degrees for collaborative work. The Zenbook Duo 14 2026 comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5X RAM running at up to 9600 MT/s and a PCIe 4.0 SSD in 1 TB or 2 TB capacities, cementing its status as a premium tool for professionals.
