The launch date for the Galaxy S26 series appears all but confirmed. An invitation for a Galaxy Unpacked event, reportedly set for February 25, 2026, has leaked online, according to insider Evan Blass. Rumors about Samsung's flagship launch timing have shifted over recent months, but the information is now converging on this specific date, making the leak particularly compelling.
The image shared by Blass hints not only at the Galaxy S26 family presentation but also at the simultaneous announcement of the new Galaxy Buds 4 wireless earbuds lineup. Typically, pre-orders open right after Unpacked, with the smartphone sales launch, according to sources, expected to begin on March 11. This means users will have to wait a couple of weeks after the premiere before the devices hit stores.
Interestingly, the invitation reveals almost no details, aside from a visual focus on Galaxy AI icons flying out of an open box. This suggests the central theme of the presentation will be new artificial intelligence features, which Samsung is actively developing for its flagships.
Alongside the smartphones, the debut of the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro is anticipated. Rumors indicate the earbuds will feature an updated design, a new color, and a revised charging case. This joint launch is a logical move, as many users prefer to upgrade their smartphone and accessories at the same time.
There is also discussion about a possible price increase for the base Galaxy S26 model, though its starting storage capacity may rise to 256 GB. Meanwhile, preliminary data suggests the Galaxy S26 Ultra could even launch at a lower price than the Galaxy S25 Ultra did, which would be a welcome surprise for fans of the top-tier version.
