Xiaomi has finally begun rolling out the long-awaited HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 14 Civi, following other Xiaomi 14 series devices that received the new firmware a month earlier. This update brings Android 16, significant interface changes, and expanded AI-based features to the model.
The rollout is happening in phases, starting in India with build number 3.0.4.0.WNJINXM. At around 6.3 GB, the firmware size means a stable Wi-Fi connection is recommended for downloading. As with other major Xiaomi updates, access to the installation may appear gradually over several days.
HyperOS 3 substantially expands the system's functionality. One key addition is HyperIsland, an interface that lets users track active processes and actions in real time without opening apps. The lock screen has also been redesigned, now featuring AI-powered cinematic scenarios, dynamic wallpapers, and extra personalization tools.
The updated system places a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. Xiaomi 14 Civi users gain access to text writing, speech recognition, smart search, and translation features. HyperOS 3 also integrates with Gemini, making device operation more convenient and faster. According to the company, the firmware includes over 100 solutions aimed at boosting stability, performance, and interface smoothness.
Xiaomi has additionally confirmed the development of HyperOS 3.1 based on Android 16. The company has started recruiting beta testers, though the Xiaomi 14 Civi is not on that list and will receive the update later, after the stable release begins.
