Redmi K90 Ultra rumored with Dimensity 9500 and 8500 mAh battery

The first details about the Redmi K90 Ultra have surfaced online. This rumored new model is expected to join the K90 lineup, focusing on maximum performance and battery life. While no official launch date has been announced, the leak reveals key specs.

According to insider Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. This marks a notable shift from the higher-end K90 Pro Max, which launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. This choice suggests Redmi is preparing a distinct "Ultra" model that emphasizes a balance of power and energy efficiency within the MediaTek platform.

One of the phone's standout features is its 8,500 mAh battery. Reports indicate the company is even attempting to fit an even larger unit. Support for 100W wired fast charging further confirms the K90 Ultra is designed for heavy use without constant need for an outlet.

The device is also said to include a built-in cooling fan, making it particularly appealing for mobile gaming and sustained workloads. The screen, based on preliminary data, will be large—around 6.8 inches—with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, positioning the model in the gaming flagship category.

Design-wise, a metal frame and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner are expected, underscoring the device's premium status. If these specs hold true, the Redmi K90 Ultra could become one of the most autonomous and powerful smartphones in the series, offering a combination of a top-tier chipset, active cooling, and a record-breaking battery.
