Upcoming vivo X300e and X Fold 6 smartphones revealed

Vivo is continuing to expand its flagship lineup. Following the global launch of the X300 series in October, which included a base model and a Pro variant, the brand is now preparing two new smartphones: the vivo X300e and the foldable vivo X Fold 6. Both devices have already appeared in the GSMA IMEI database, indicating an active preparation stage for their release.

In the GSMA IMEI listings, the smartphone appears under the name vivo X300e. Notably, vivo has not previously used the "e" suffix in its X series. In past generations, the company focused on models like the X200 FE and X200T, which were positioned as more affordable flagships. By analogy, the X300e is likely to occupy a similar niche, emphasizing a balance of features and price.

The same database also revealed the foldable smartphone vivo X Fold 6. Like the upcoming X300 Ultra, it will most likely debut in China first before reaching global markets. While technical specifications are not disclosed in the certification documents, the device's appearance confirms that development is in full swing.

According to earlier leaks, the vivo X Fold 6 may feature the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a 200-megapixel main camera, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For comparison, the current vivo X Fold 5 comes with an 8.03-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple Zeiss camera system, and a 6,000 mAh battery supporting fast wired and wireless charging.

Although vivo has not officially commented on the X300e and X Fold 6, their registration in international databases makes it clear: the company is preparing to expand both its flagship and foldable lineups in the coming months.
