Xiaomi is nearing the completion of its major HyperOS 3 update, which began in October 2025. After quickly reaching flagship devices initially, the company moved to the final phase by early February 2026—updating budget devices and older mid-range models.
According to Xiaomi Time service data, HyperOS 3 deployment is approximately 95% complete. Stable firmware is now being sent to the last group of supported devices. Among those still awaiting OTA updates are the Xiaomi 13T, Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G, and the budget Redmi A4. In the POCO lineup, the update is gradually rolling out to the C85 and M7 series, though users in some regions remain on beta versions. The final wave also includes Redmi Pad Pro and POCO Pad tablets. Xiaomi aims to fully complete HyperOS 3 distribution by the end of February 2026. One reason for this haste is that HyperOS 3.1 is already in active beta testing.
HyperOS 3.1 won't be limited to minor fixes. The update is based on Android 16 and includes a redesigned Super Island interface with expanded third-party app support, plus a new mode in the recent apps menu designed to provide smoother system navigation.
The company emphasizes that updates are rolled out in stages, so not receiving a notification doesn't indicate a device issue. The stable version of HyperOS 3 should reach final wave users within the next two to three weeks. While HyperOS 3 serves as the foundation for Xiaomi's ecosystem, version 3.1 is viewed as the next key step in the system's evolution.
