OPPO has officially announced the launch timeline for its upcoming foldable smartphone, the Find N6. The company confirmed that the device will debut in China right after the Chinese New Year celebrations, which conclude on February 17 this year. Factoring in holiday breaks, the launch is expected in late February or early March—roughly aligning with the timing of last year's Find N5.
Manufacturers are placing a strong emphasis on an improved design. OPPO stated that the Find N6 will feature an even less noticeable crease on the inner screen, addressing a key concern highlighted in user surveys. This focus suggests the company is tackling one of the main compromises associated with foldable smartphones.
According to preliminary information, the Find N6 will be equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The camera system is poised to be among the most advanced in its segment, featuring a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP periscope lens, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and two 20MP front-facing cameras—one for each display.
The device is also rumored to include a battery with a capacity of around 6,000 mAh, supporting 80W fast wired charging. The top configuration may offer up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, while the weight is speculated to be approximately 225 grams, which is relatively light for a foldable flagship.
